Both AELOX and VCP21 offer a high-contrast pink lens (Category 2), the go-to tint for reading the green in variable or overcast light. Prefer no tint at all? A clear lens still protects your eyes from wind and debris without changing how you see color on the course. And if you’re sensitive to bright sun and don’t want to swap glasses as the light shifts, the AELOX PH’s photochromic lens adjusts automatically to the day’s conditions.

Polarized lenses cut glare but can flatten the subtle slope and grain of a green and affect depth perception on putts. Many golfers prefer a high-contrast non-polarized lens for exactly this reason.

The main difference is fit: it comes down to base curve. Prefer a wraparound fit? That’s the VCP21 (Base 7). Prefer something more relaxed? Go with the AELOX family (Base 6). Both use a single-piece shield lens, so you get uninterrupted vision with no bridge or frame line across your sightline, unlike two-lens sunglasses.
